I Miss You

The voices in my head tell me to let go,
But without you by my side it's hard for me to show.
Dreaming and dreaming of missing you still,
I remember watching the sunset up on old orchard hill.
The days I was sick I remember too well,
Picking me up from school when I was going through hell.

Rain pouring down on our green grassy land,
We'd watch it together with my hand in your hand.
Now when it rains I can still see your face,
Being without you I feel like I have a big empty space.

I miss you Papa with all of my heart,
I was your little girl from the very start.
Now that you're gone I have to wonder why,
God would take a life that had so much left to shine.
