David Fink

Neil Peart

Like a machine, every motion the same,
With his powerful drumming style, he has made it to fame,
Odd time signatures he can maneuver, without any pain.

“Just a drummer” can not be applied,
In all aspects of music, he has made great strides,
And all the lyrics come from his mind.

Even passed the tragedies he has faced,
He continues to drum, improving with haste,
And can now play at a much faster pace.

His arms fly, but they never miss a beat,
His legs pushing down the numerous pedals around his feet,
This is one hero I would surely like to meet.
