Looking back and admiring what I’ve done right
and learning from what I’ve done wrong,
life goes on.
People change.
Lovers change.
Family always seems to stay the same.
Keep on standing with your head high,
you’re something special,
going somewhere some day
far enough to be something to someone
to make a change-however small it may be.
If you don’t,
you’ve changed my life and
touched my heart.
Things may get tough out there but
life goes on.
Good friends stay true.
Others will drift.
You’ll find who you are
cause don’t you worry,
life goes on.
