Thirteen Ways To Use A Lemon

The ripe lemon is as yellow as the sun, ready to let its juices run
A little grind from its peel could add a bit of zeal
A slice with the right spice in a meal can be a big deal
Having a thirst pang? Add lemon in your water for a little tang.

One swipe of a lemon wedge can whiten your nail edge
The peel’s fragrant oils will help your mind to uncoil
Add honey to make a thick coat and it will cure a sore throat
Apply it on your face, and blemishes will be erased.

Lemon Pledge spray lets you put your furniture on display
A cup of juice in your washing machine can make your whites really clean
in fact, use juice on any stain, and it will go down the drain
It also works well, to eliminate smell.

Lemon drops and lollipops are always tops
The love for lemon taste, could never be replaced
Who knew something so sour could be so sweet,
When life gives you lemons, make a good treat.
