Sisters

Far in distance, yet close at heart,
Never from each other will we grow apart.
Diverse interests, similar appearance,
Our friendship gives me strength and perseverance.
The moments we have shared I will never disregard,
Together, we’ve faced times that were unquestionably hard.
She has pushed me to stay strong when I have felt like letting go,
And how to not judge what I have not experienced and do not know.
She has always been by my side when my walls start to cave in,
My sister is my most influential role model, and always has been.
