Aqua

Through the consoling ocean I drifted, so crystal, clear and blue
If only I knew,
How fast it surrounds you.

Swimming faster and faster
I was headed for disaster,
Swimming through the summer days, I thought I was a master.

On my back, losing breath,
A monster whirlpool pulled me towards my death.

But then, I saw the land,
Floating towards the soft, fair sand
It took me by the hand…

Safety.
