Ellen C.

Tiny Stranger

Tiny fingers and tiny toes,
You came home that day
A little stranger to me.
I held you like a doll.

As days passed,
I never noticed just how much you had grown.
Looking back now,
It has been a remarkable journey.

From crawling to running,
Crying to laughing,
You are becoming more than a brother
And more like my friend.
