It's one against the world, constant strife,

No surprise,
You refuse to open your eyes,
Your head shakes, you disagree,
Excuses to make, you're willing to flee,
All things are at stake,
Life still has its turn to take,

You leave nothing to chance,

Fear is your king,
You bow when you should sing,

For all the problems for which you run,
Pull down the blinds, shut out the sun,
