Marisa Stone I Remember.....I remember waking up on a radiant Saturday morning dawning my blue shorts, white and blue jersey, and my black cleats ready to play the game of my life
I remember arriving at the field the car parked, the door opened, I stepped on the luscious green grass ready to play the game
I remember my team stampeding to our coach waiting for him to tell us how to play the game
He reminded us if we win this we are the best in the league
I remember scoring goals left and right knowing that we could be the best
I remember they scored and we were tied with one minute left to play
We were exhausted with grass stains on our uniforms with sweat dripping from our faces
