| Shakira Smith JudgmentWhen a teen is seenJudgment is the main assumption about someone
A student goes into an office
on one side of a building
She gets warm welcomes and the stares of
 Hopes and dreams

The same student goes into an office
on the other side of the same building
She gets blank stares of failure

But who are you to judge me?
Yet you assume things about others’
 physical appearance

 Who gave you the
 badge of honor
To stand with pride and say things about another?
When you yourself can’t keep your own head above water

 Day-by-Day you gossip
 about other people's
 lives and their business

You don’t realize Deep down to the flesh in your body
 you’re only judging yourself
